We're so out of our minds these days that we even anticipate the preview of the preview. Seems like Entertainment Tonight will premiere the brand spanking new Iron Man 2 trailer on Wednesday night (hey, that's tonight!), and to whet our appetites they've produced more than one teaser preview of the eventual real preview. Yes, by my estimates, the Entertainment Tonight previews of the Iron Man 2 trailer are probably longer than the actual trailer itself. But who cares – it's Iron Man!

Of course the somewhat annoying Entertainment Tonight anchors blabber all over the footage so you can barely make out what's happening – not to mention that their super fast cuts are super annoying – but they do get a few fun shots in, like when Gwyneth Paltrow (as Pepper Potts) throws Iron Man's helmet out of what looks like a helicopter or plane. Then, you can't help by chuckle when Robert Downey Jr. (as Tony Stark/Iron Man) leaps out of the plane while shouting, "You complete me". Oh, and how could I forget to mention the totally cool shot of Iron Man and War Machine blazing their guns side by side. What in the world could they be fighting that they'd need to unleash that much force? I have no idea, but I can't wait to find out.

Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember.

Among those who welcome her back is the Mad Hatter, a part tailor-made for Johnny Depp as he collaborates with Burton for the seventh time. "This character is off his rocker," Zanuck says.

Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska, 19, best known for HBO's In Treatment, has the coveted title role. "There is something real, honest and sincere about her," Zanuck says. "She's not a typical Hollywood starlet."

There is the usual Burton-esque ghoulishness (Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen, whose favorite retort is "Off with their heads," has a moat filled with bobbing noggins), but Zanuck assures most kids can handle it. "The book itself is pretty dark," he notes. "This is for little people and people who read it when they were little 50 years ago."

Some of us are maybe growing impatient with The Road: the release, first expected in November 2008, has been pushed to 2009 without any official date yet... Rumors of a straight to DVD release are even surfacing. But most would rather see a theatrical release as soon as possible.

Fortunately Viggo Mortensen, who plays the role of the Man in The Road, is here to reassure us (via AICN) that the movie is in good hands:

"My understanding is that they know that they've got a story that a lot of people want to see, because of the book. [...] And, the people that read the book, which are many, were very moved by it and by this relationship between this boy and this man, in particular, in that setting. And, I think that they are really aware of the fact that they've got one chance to do it, and if there's any little things that they still want to work on a little more, to get it just right, whether it's the music --I don't know what it is -- a variety of things, they want to do it right. And, if you rush it out before you feel in good conscience it's there ... So, I am disappointed. I wanted to see it. I want to see how it is."

They better make it right indeed! People who have read Cormac McCarthy's book would not forgive a loose adaptation of the novel. So, even if we have to wait a bit more, it's worth it. Just by judging from the pictures of The Road I feel it could contend for an Oscar: both Viggo and Kodi looks amazing in their respective roles as father and son.

The whole point of the ship was for it to travel to a planet called Tanis. This planet can sustain human life so the ship is like a giant Noahs ark that is filled with test tubes of, I'm assuming, sperm and eggs of all the Earths species. Tanis is very very far away so the crew on the ship are split up into groups/shifts. These shifts last YEARS. i.e. Ben Foster and Dennis Quaid's characters were asleep for 8 years. The pods you see them waking up in are hibernation chambers that also inject your with an "Adaptation Excellorator" that will allow the humans to adapt to Tanis when they arrive.

The Monsters on the ship are actually mutants that look exactly like the ones from The Decent. The goal on the ship was to restart the Generator basically on the other side of the ship. Ben Foster wakes up first, then he wakes up Quaid, they are stuck in a room by themselves with no way out because the doors are air tight and the power is off. Foster has to climb through a vent to get out leaving Quaid in the room alone with only a communication device to contact Foster. Foster has some trouble in the tight vents but manages to get out. With barely any light, Foster travels the ship to find a woman trying to open a door, when she see him, she attacks. This turns out to be Traue. They hear screaming and roaring coming down the hall, she vanishes and Foster walks away to find, what looks like someone standing. When he gets closer he sees that it is a body hanging from the ceiling and half eaten. Here we have our first encounter with the mutants. Foster runs away and hides while seeing the mutant pull away a corpse.

Foster now remembers that he had a wife and that she came on board the ship since families and such were allowed to come. This makes him want to find her. Quaid trys to make Foster reconsider but he keeps going to find a security room. In this room he grabs a device that shoots a plasma like beam. Foster keeps moving through the ship and you see someone with a sword following him. Foster moves to find another hanging body and thinks that he is going around in circles. He moves closer to the body to find out that the person is alive and is Reedus' character. Reedus is scared to death and once Foster cuts him down Reedus covers himself with oil saying its to keep the smell away. Reedus says that he must run away now before its too late. The mutants come and they both run. Reedus hides in some compartment while Foster climbs up and over a wall. Reedus gets taken and killed by the mutants and then they see Foster who keeps on running. Foster runs into Le who saves him and then points his weapon at Foster wondering if he has goes crazy with Pandorum or not. Le doesnt speak any English so its hard to communicate, but Foster tells him that they must go to the Generator to reset it. Foster tells Le that he must go alone and that Le must stay put. Le tells him where to go and Foster leaves. Foster goes into a room and opens two big doors which turn out to be the doors to out on a cargo container that he's in. He is attacked by Traue again and they both fall a few cargo crates down to the ground floor. Le jumps in and fights Traue and Foster breaks it up saying they are all on the same team.

They continue on as a team, they are attacked again by the mutants and Traue brings the team to her living area. Her living area is a giant elevator that is based in the Noah's Ark area of the ship. They talk about the area, and how Traue has been awake for about 6 months, and then keep on moving.

They now end up in a huge part of the ship where many of the family is stored, also the mutants main feeding area. They must move fast. Foster and Traue move on but for some reason Le stays in one spot. Foster falls into a hole and Traue right after. They land in water not too far from the surface. Foster lights a glow stick and sees that it is basically a trashcan with hundreds of skeletons. A mutant walks right over them and then they climb out the hole. They are attacked by one mutant and have a battle. Foster and Traue are knocked out a bit and Le jumps in out of nowhere and fights him with his sword Foster gets up and so Traue, they all attack the mutant. This show that they are hard to kill even by 3 people. The mutant dies but more come. They keep running and go through a air tight latch that they close.

During this time, Gigandet's character climbs through the vent where Quaid is at and is shivering. Gigandet is very jittery and unstable. Since Gigandet was part of the flight crew Quaid asks what happened.

Back to Foster and the team. They end up in a room where it seems as though someones been living. The lights turn on and Rouse's character is on a balcony about a story above them with them having no way of reaching him. He welcomes them but does not trust them, he is very shady. Rouse uses a bucket on a rope to hand them soup of some sort. The drink it. Traue tells a story that she think that the mutants are the crew members that have been on there the longest and instead of the Adaptation Excellorator adapting them to Tanis, it adapted them to the ship, thats why they are mutants.

Here is where the stories between Quaid and Fosters Team merge. Gigandet and Rouse start telling the story of what happened. It ends up that something happened and Earth Blew Up. This cause the flight crew to experience Pandorum and Gigandet having to kill them. Fosters Team has been poisoned by Rouse and then wake up chained upside down to find out Rouse has been surviving off of humans just like them by eating them. Rouse stabs Traue but not enough to kill her. Foster talks Rouse into letting them go because if he doesnt the Generator will shut off EVERYTHING in about an hour. On the other side, you see Quaid experiencing signs of Pandorum, this causes Gigandet to show signs of wanting to kill Quaid.

Fosters team is now again heading for the Generator with Rouse. They see a chile Mutant and see that they are breeding. The child gets away. They get to the generator room which its a giant pillar with a small walkway to get to the middle. Foster attempts to walk across but it break which leaves him hanging and Traue runs across the broken walkway to try to pull him up. Foster decides to fall and lands a few feet down, still hanging. Team Foster look down and see that the ground floor in a sleeping ground for hundreds of sleeping mutants. Le holds the heavy walkway up so it doesnt fall and make noise to wake them all up. Foster jumps down to where they are all sleeping and covers himself in their clothes so he doesnt give off a scent. He finds a ladder but Rouse drops his flashlight and wakes them all up. Foster climbs up fast, Le drops the walkway killing some of the mutants and Rouse runs away. Le runs away after aswell. Foster climbed to where Traue is and they turn on the generator causing a huge wall of blue flame to come up and kill most of the mutants in that area. They both start running.

Quaid and Gigandet has a fight because Gigandet want to eject them both from the ship. Quaid ends u winning and locking Gigandet in his Hibernation Tube. Rouse runs all the way to where Quaid is and enters the room thinking Quaid is friendly. But, Quaid kills him with a needle. Le has a fight with a mutant and wins, then sees the child mutant again which slices his neck and kills him. Quaid makes his way to the Flight deck or the Brig. Not knowing he's there Foster and Traue run in there and lock the door. They find Quaid there. Quaid turns out the be the same character as Gigandet and HE killed the flight crew because he was experiencing Pandorum the whole time. Foster asks where they are in space. Quaid opens the shutter on the ship and they are underwater with some cool glowing fish on the outside. They've been on Tanis the whole movie. The ship crash landed. Quaid attacks Foster and Traue. Foster gets knocked down and Quaid is about to kill Traue. Foster shoots his Plasma gun at a mutant that is coming in. This cracks the window on the ship and water starts pouring in. Foster grabs Troue and they run. Quaid gets killed by the water.

Foster and Traue run and jump into a Hibernation tube together which is half filled with water, they close it and hit the eject button to eject the Tube from the ship. Foster is holding his breathe while Traue has the breathing deivce meant for the people actually sleeping in the tubes. The tube goes to the top on the ocean, they pop the tube open. They are now floating on Tanis. When Foster his the eject button the ship automatically ejected all of the tubes and the people left alive in the tubes were floating on Tanis as well. The text on the screen said the popultion an Tanis was now 1,700.

On December 6, 1973 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, Susie Salmon takes a shortcut home from school. She is approached by a neighbor, George Harvey, a man in his mid-30s who lives alone and builds dollhouses for a living. He persuades her to enter an underground den he has recently built nearby. Once she enters, he rapes her, stabs her to death, then dismembers her body. An elbow, the only part of Susie ever to be found, falls out of his bag as he returns home, disposing of the remaining parts of the body by putting them in a safe and dropping it into a sinkhole. Meanwhile, Susie's spirit flees toward her personal heaven.

The Salmon family is at first reluctant to accept that Susie has been killed, but then accedes when Susie's hat and elbow are found. The police who talk to Harvey find him odd but see no reason to suspect him. Jack, Susie's father, becomes suspicious and later begins to harass the police about Harvey. Susie's sister Lindsey comes to share these suspicions. Jack, consumed with guilt over not having been able to protect his daughter, remains on extended leave from work and increasingly isolates himself at home. Buckley, the youngest child in the family of three, tries to make sense of all this as he starts school.

One day late in the summer a detective named Len Fenerman comes to tell the Salmons that the police have exhausted all leads and are dropping the investigation. That night in his study, Jack looks out the window and sees a flashlight in the cornfield. Believing it to be Harvey returning to destroy evidence, he runs out to confront him with a baseball bat. It turns out to be Susie's best friend, Clarissa, and her boyfriend Brian looking for a place to make out. Brian and Jack struggle and Jack is struck with the bat. As a result he has to have knee replacement surgery. In the wake of this, his wife Abigail begins having an affair with Fenerman, who is a widower.

Still suspicious, Lindsey sneaks into Harvey's house and finds a drawing of the pit, but is forced to leave when Harvey returns prematurely. Sensing danger, Harvey leaves Norristown as soon as possible and becomes a drifter. A year later the police bulldoze the cornfield and turn up a soda bottle from the night of the murder with Harvey's and Susie's fingerprints, finally making him an official suspect. However, he remains at large. That fall, a hunter in Connecticut discovers the body of another one of Harvey's victims, and one of Susie's charms nearby. In 1981, a detective in Connecticut links the charm to Susie's murder and calls Fenerman. As they uncover further evidence, the police realize that Harvey is a serial killer. At about the same time, Susie sees into Harvey's traumatic childhood, and develops a grudging pity for her killer.

The following summer Abigail leaves her husband, going to her father's old cabin in New Hampshire and then moving to California, taking a job at a winery. As a result, her mother, Grandma Lynn, moves into the Salmons' home to help her son-in-law care for Buckley and Lindsey.

Lindsey and her boyfriend Samuel Heckler become engaged, find an old house in the woods owned by a classmate's father, and decide to fix it up and live there. Sometime after the celebration, while arguing with his son, Jack suffers from a heart attack. The emergency prompts Abigail to return from California, but the reunion is tempered by Buckley's lingering bitterness at her for having abandoned him and his father.

Meanwhile, Harvey returns to Norristown, which has become more developed. He explores his old neighborhood and notices the school is being expanded into the cornfield where he murdered Susie. He drives by the sinkhole where Susie's body rests, and where Ruth Connors and Ray Singh are standing. Ruth, an old classmate of Susie's who had felt Susie's spirit go past her after her murder, senses the women Harvey has killed and is overcome. Susie, watching from heaven, is also overwhelmed with emotion and the two girls exchange positions. Susie, her spirit now in Ruth's body, kisses Ray, who had a crush on Susie in school, and they go to the back room in Hal Heckler's (the older brother of Lindsey's boyfriend Samuel) bike shop to make love. Afterwards, Susie returns to heaven.

She moves on into the larger heaven, still watching earthbound events from time to time. She sees her sister's newborn baby girl, who is named Abigail Suzanne. One day she spies Harvey getting off a Greyhound bus at a diner in New Hampshire in early spring. Behind the diner he sees a young woman and attempts to speak to her, but she rebuffs him. Susie notices some large icicles hanging from the roof, and after the woman leaves, one falls and hits Harvey on the head, knocking him into a nearby ravine and ultimately killing him.

The novel ends with Susie showing us Lindsey's newborn daughter, then tracking away to a newer house where a man has finally found Susie's old charm bracelet. "This little girl's grown up by now," his wife says. "Almost. Not quite," Susie's narrative voice rejoins. "I wish you all a long and happy life."
